Correct use specifications for dehumidifiers

Dehumidifiers, we often use them in daily life and work, but I don't know if everyone knows about dehumidifiers?

I will first introduce a working principle of dehumidifier for everyone: after the air to be treated is sucked by the fan, it is filtered through the air filter, then cooled and dehumidified on the cooled evaporator, and the excess water vapor in the air is condensed into water. The moisture content of the air is reduced, and the dehumidified condensed water takes away a part of the damp heat, so that the temperature of the air is lowered accordingly. In order to make the air temperature and humidity suitable, the dehumidifier has a special structure that heats the dehumidified air through the condenser to heat up, thereby Increase the ambient temperature and greatly improve the dehumidification effect of the dehumidifier.

So what are the usage specifications that we need to pay attention to when we purchase the dehumidifier?

Next, I will elaborate on the correct use of the eleven aspects of the power supply, placement, thermal environment, movement and handling, sealing, noise, drainage and filter nets of the wet machine.

1, the power supply

The power supply of the dehumidifier must be a dedicated power supply, and pay attention to whether the voltage of the power supply matches the machine (220v or 380v), and do not use a socket with other appliances. The power supply should not be close to the water to avoid a short circuit.

2, placed

The place where the dehumidifier is placed should ensure the airflow of the inlet and outlet, and there should be no obstacles around it to avoid affecting the air circulation. Keep a space of more than 30cm around the dehumidifier.

3, the thermal environment

Do not use the dehumidifier near the heat source to avoid adding electric energy. If the ambient temperature exceeds 40 °C, the pressure in the system will increase and the compressor will be overloaded. At this time, the overload protector will cut off the circuit and the compressor will be protected and stopped. Therefore, the optimum operating temperature range of the dehumidifier is 15 °C ~ 40 °C. Set the humidity value to be above 40%. If the humidity in the air is below 30%, it will cause too dry and make people feel uncomfortable.

4, moving and handling

When moving and handling the dehumidifier, the inclination of the machine should not exceed 45 degrees. It is strictly prohibited to invert or lie horizontally. This is easy to cause the refrigerant to reverse flow and the internal shock absorbing spring of the compressor to be unhooked, which makes the compressor use a lot of noise and cannot be used normally. And prevent excessive vibration, so as not to cause the pipe to break and damage the machine. After the dehumidifier has been moved, it is best to sit for four to six hours before turning it on. Since the compressor line in the dehumidifier contains cold coal, after moving, the cold coal must go through four to six hours to fully return.

5, sealing

When using a dehumidifier, it should be used in a place with good sealing properties, such as doors and windows should be closed, and there is no appliance that generates water vapor in the room. Because the dehumidifier uses the principle of air circulation to dehumidify and damp, if the sealing is not good, it will affect the dehumidification effect of the dehumidifier, prolong the working time of the dehumidifier, and increase energy consumption.

6, abnormal sound

If the dehumidifier is in the working process, if abnormal sound such as metal collision sound is found, it should be stopped for inspection. In particular, check whether the centrifugal fan blade and the shell are in contact with each other and the fastener is loose. It is best to add an appropriate amount of lubricant to the bearing of the fan motor every six months, or call the dehumidifier manufacturer.

7. Drainage

If the water storage capacity of the household dehumidifier with water tank is too full, you need to take it out evenly when you are pumping the tank to avoid spilling the dirty ground. If you need to carry the body during operation, please unplug the power cord and put the water tank. The inner water is drained. If it is an industrial dehumidifier or a commercial dehumidifier, the height of the drainage should not exceed the height of the dehumidifier drain pipe. Otherwise, the water will flow backwards and flow out from the inside of the dehumidifier, seriously damaging the dehumidifier.

8, the filter

Clean the filter regularly, depending on the environment, if the dehumidifier is used in a dusty environment (about once a week) to maintain the dehumidification efficiency and life of the machine. If it is a dust space cleaning filter, it can be washed with water below 40 °C; if it contains oil stains, it will be better cleaned with detergent, washed with water, dried and put back into the body. It should be noted that when cleaning the body, wipe it gently with a damp cloth; do not directly pour water to clean it, so as not to damage the electrical insulation. There are adhesives on the surface of the body, which can be washed with soapy water to avoid spraying with gasoline, petroleum spirit, solvent or spray insecticide to avoid peeling or discoloration. Do not use thin rods or wires to pry the inside of the machine to avoid malfunction or danger.

9, condenser and evaporator

The condenser and evaporator should be cleaned from time to time and kept clean so as not to cause the fins to block the air and air. The water droplets attached to the surface of the evaporator at a temperature lower than 15 ° C around the condenser are liable to freeze and the effect of the dehumidifier is weakened.

10, storage

When the dehumidifier is not used for a long time, unplug the power cord and clean the whole machine. Volatile oil, thinner and detergent may cause damage to the machine. Do not use it. Pour water from the water tank to avoid bacterial growth.

11, disassembly

Non-professionals should not arbitrarily disassemble the dehumidifiers controlled by digital microcomputers because they control the precision of the original devices. Do not use the function of the dehumidifier frequently, which will reduce its service life.
