The working principle of the electrode humidifier: when the tap water enters the humidification barrel, the water level gradually rises. Electricity is applied to the electrodes of the humidifier. When the water level overflows the electrodes, a current loop is formed between the electrodes through the conductivity of the water, and the water is heated to boiling to output clean steam. With the steam output, the water level gradually decreases.
At this time, the water inlet valve is energized and opened, and water is supplied again until the appropriate water level is reached, and steam continues to be generated. When the concentration of minerals in the humidification barrel is getting higher and higher, the drain valve will automatically open to drain the waste water, and the humidifier will replenish new water again and continue the humidification process. Using tap water with too high or too low conductivity can cause the humidifier to wear out too quickly or not humidify enough.
