Does the dehumidifier have the effect of purifying the air?
This year's dehumidifier new products, a lot of product leaflets have added the "purify the air" function propaganda. Recently, Foshan one company brought four new dehumidifiers to the 2013 Spring Canton Fair. According to reports, the new dehumidifier series has the characteristics of “one special multi-energy”, among which there is air filtration function.
Not only do some domestic dehumidifiers promote the additional functions of purifying the air, but some foreign products have also joined the promotion of this function. For example, an electric dehumidifier in the United States claims that the electrostatic filter and the activated carbon filter double-layer filtration can effectively absorb dust, smoke, pollen and odor, and create a refreshing home environment. If the negative ion air purification function is used, the effect is better. Another brand of electric water molecular adsorption wheel dryer in the United States is also called built-in activated carbon layer, which can effectively remove the odor in the air, initially purify the air and create a dry and clean environment.
However, consumers do not agree with the evaluation after purchasing and using. One consumer said that he received a dehumidifier product when evaluating a dehumidifier, but the operation panel has only three modes: silent dehumidification, strong dehumidification, and dry clothes mode. The dehumidification function has been tried normally, but there is no "air purification" mode, which means that there is no such thing as propaganda.
The machine does not have the "air purification" function and can not be labeled as "strong dehumidification + dry clothes + air purification three in one, environmentally friendly and non-toxic" products, there are deceptive ingredients.
