Installation Instruction

Installation Requirements and Instructions for Duct Dehumidifier

Duct dehumidifier can be hoisted on the ceiling, does not occupy the floor space, suitable for basement, underground garage, indoor swimming pool, business exhibition hall, merchant supermarket, restaurant, entertainment hall, bank business hall, large conference room, business office building, workshop, special warehouse storage and other places. Installation of duct dehumidifier should be divided into the dehumidifier host installation, the installation of the air pipe, the installation of the drainage pipe and control box installation, totally four parts. Before installation, the first thing is to determine the location of installation, customers need consultation with the designer.

Installation Requirements:

1. Reasonable layout according to the construction site decoration requirements, the power line, drainage, combined with decoration aesthetics.

2. The hoisting position should be reasonable, which shall not affect the circulation of air inlet and outlet of the dehumidifier.

3. Installation points: Firmly,safely, keep the dehumidifier balanced, and the location of the drainage hole should be slightly lower to ensure unobstructed drainage of water.

Installation Steps:

1. Dehumidifier Host Installation

1) Hanger Rod Installation

Confirm the installation position. Then accurately mark it with chalk and measuring tools, and then drill holes in the determined position, and the expansion screw shall be installed. The screw shall be equipped with a spring bumper, and the size shall not be less than M8.

2) Dehumidifier Installation

Before the dehumidifier is installed, each expansion screw shall be successively loaded with M8 nut, flat pad and rubber shock cushion, and then the dehumidifier shall be moved horizontally upward to insert the expansion screw into the dehumidifier lifting lug; Rubber shock cushion are put on each screw, and then screw the nut to install the dehumidifier on the expansion screw. Please note that the dehumidifier should not be inverted in any position, otherwise the dehumidifier will be damaged.

3) Horizontal Installation

After the dehumidifier is installed, adjust the fixing nuts, which can be tested with a level ruler to make the dehumidifier host horizontally installed (to ensure that the dehumidifier can give out water normally and avoid potential leakage). Finally, lock the dehumidifier with the nuts, and then the installation is completed.

2. Air Pipe Installation

1) Air Inlet Pipe Installation

The air inlet should be as close as possible to the dehumidifier host, and the difference

between the height of the air inlet and the dehumidifier itself should be as small as possible. The shorter the air inlet pipe, the better the dehumidification effect.The maximum air inlet pipe shall not exceed 1.5meters and shall be closely connected with the air inlet of the dehumidifier (there shall be no obstacles in front of the air inlet).

2) Air Outlet Pipe Installation

The distance between the air outlet and the dehumidifier host should be as far as possible, but the longest air outlet pipe shall not be more than 5 meters. The difference between the air outlet and the dehumidifier itself should be as small as possible, and shall be closely connected with the air outlet of the dehumidifier(there should be no obstacles in front of the air outlet).

3. Drainage Pipe Installation

The duct dehumidifier shall be 5-10cm higher than the drainage pipe, and there shall be a water lock on the drainage pipe (the water lock is used to solve the negative pressure drainage at the condensate pipe, otherwise the condensate water of the unit may leak out through the air duct).

4. Control Box Installation

The installation of the control box can refer to the switch box installation at home. The connection line can be open or concealed lines, the control box needs to be installed on the wall of obvious and good operation. Please be noted that the length of the control line should be less than 25 meters.(If the control line is too long, there will be signal attenuation)
