Damp proof and dehumidification treatment of substation high pressure chamber
1 Operation status of substation high pressure room equipment
As a important part of the power transmission link, the high-voltage room equipment of the substation is directly related to the safety and stability of the power grid.
At present, most of the substation high pressure chambers are provided with glass windows, axial fans and blinds for ventilation and heat dissipation. However, this design has a big drawback, that is, the moisture-proof and moisture-proof effect is poor. Especially in the southern region, it is rainy in the first half of the year. Even if the doors and windows are closed during the rainy season, the high-pressure indoor air directly communicates with the outside air due to the existence of the blinds, and the outdoor high-humidity air directly penetrates into the high-pressure chamber. At the same time, since the high-pressure room is usually arranged on the first floor, the surface moisture and the cable ditch moisture are collected, resulting in a very high humidity in the high-pressure room, which seriously jeopardizes the safe operation of electrical equipment. In the case of the returning tide, the indoor humidity of some high-pressure chambers can reach more than 95%, which causes the insulation level of high-voltage equipment to drop seriously. Condensation may cause discharge in the cabinet and may even cause the switchgear to explode. In addition, due to the long-term operation of electrical equipment (at least 4 months in the southern part of the country during the rainy season), it will cause serious corrosion of various metal materials. The most direct hazard is the failure of the switch and the normal operation of the knife gate. Especially for the switchgear with single row arrangement in the room, the symmetrical design of the wall louver often causes the convection of the wet air in the belly of the switchgear, and the insulation accident caused by the condensation is greatly increased.
2 Measures for moisture and dehumidification
In view of the situation that the substation high pressure chamber has heavy moisture and humidity during the rainy season, the following prevention measures are proposed.
(1) Block the cable trench and the switch cabinet hole. Waterproof and plugging measures shall be adopted for the cable trenches entering and exiting the high pressure chamber to ensure the internal and external isolation of the cable trenches of the high voltage chamber and prevent the water accumulated in the cable trenches from flowing into the high pressure chamber. At the same time, the cable perforations of each cabinet are blocked to prevent the moisture in the cable trench from directly invading the high-voltage room switchgear equipment. A full inspection by the on-duty staff is carried out before the onset of the annual rainy season.
(2) Inspection of the doors, windows and exterior walls of the high-voltage room requires that the existing doors and windows are in good condition and that the wall has no leakage, preventing rainwater from falling into the high-pressure room or infiltrating the outdoor moisture.
(3) Check the roof of the high-voltage room indoors, requiring no leakage. At the same time, for the high-voltage room where the busbar is exposed on the top of the cabinet, the limestone brush should not be used on the inner layer of the roof to prevent the lime layer from falling off due to moisture and falling on the top of the switchgear.
(4) During the rainy season and high humidity period, close the doors and windows of the high pressure room, and it is not appropriate to open the ventilation device.
(5) Check the outdoor blades of the axial fan, and require the blades to be closed when the axial fan is not working to prevent moisture from penetrating into the high pressure chamber through the axial fan.
(6) Add glazing to the high pressure room blinds. When the outdoor humidity is high, close these windows to prevent the ingress of humid air outdoors; under normal weather conditions, the glass windows remain open to ensure ventilation and heat dissipation of the high pressure chamber. For the unattended substation, an automatic window opener can be installed to automatically open and close the glass window according to the indoor humidity, or manually remotely control.
(7) In design, for high-pressure chambers arranged in a single row of switch cabinets, blinds should not be symmetrically arranged on both sides to avoid convection of wet air.
(8) An industrial dehumidifier with an installed power matching the size of the indoor space dehumidifies the indoor air. If economic conditions permit, a centralized control device can be installed in the high pressure room. The window and dehumidifier are automatically turned on and off according to the indoor temperature and humidity, and the effect is better.
