Working Principle of Desiccant Dehumidifier

The core part of the Dehumidifiers is cellular structure rotor, formed by special ceramic fiber composite and silica gel. The rotor is divided into two areas by a seal device, one is process area (dehumidification area), the other is reactivation area. When the Dehumidifier is in operation, two streams of air pass through two areas simultaneously. One is the air that will be dehumidified by silica gel in rotor, the other is hot air used to dry the running rotor so that it will be able to remove moisture again. The moisture is taken away by the hot and very humid air steam.

1.Housing

★CLR series dehumidification equipment introduced steel frame structure, which is tightness, anti-corrosion, and equipped the cold bridge device to prevent condensation happens;

2.Process air duct

★ There are filters for each air inlets, efficiency is 35%, conveniently disassembled, generally they can be cleaned three times;

3.Reactivation air duct：

★ There are filters for each air inlets, efficiency is 35%, conveniently disassembled, generally they can be cleaned three times;

★ Imported straight association-like fan, small, light, low noise. Reactivation blower will delay to stop while reactivation temperature up to 60 ℃, ensure that the water vapor and heat can be taken away totally;

★ Reactivation heating pipes. The controller exquisites signals of the heating temperature transmitter, then PID adjusts internally, adjust the power of SCR to promise the wheel is constant temperature, achieving the purpose of saving energy

4.Desiccant wheel

Desiccant wheel and the frame part are the core of the dehumidifier, whose performance characteristics directly influence the dehumidifier performance and characteristics:

★ Both desiccant wheel and sealing strip are imported from abroad;

★ The desiccant wheel is made by special heat resistance composite materials, which is corrugated structure containing high performance of moisture absorption, forms lots of tiny airport, has large air contact area, improving the dehumidification efficiency;

★ ProFlute desiccant dehumidifier.

5.Driving system of wheel

★ The slow rotation of wheel is realized through the motor and belt transmission device. Belt is located in wheel rim, driven through the drive motor pulley;

★ Belt tension device can ensure belt in the appropriate firmness, prevents belt slide. Deal with driving devices are correct operation. The front panel can be open to check the wheel rotation direction.

6.Protective device

★ Motor overloaded and short circuit protection: Processing motor, reactivation motor and the motor of wheel are introduced the overload and short circuit protection function.;

★ Stop protection：When dehumidifier stops in normal, reactivation fans (including wheel) will continue to run until reactivation heater cools down to 60 ℃ below;

★ Fault alarms for: motor switch trip, reactivation high temperature, wheel stop and etc. The signals will happen in operation panel.
