This area is probably the most important area for humidity control. Typically, tobacco passes through a compressed air line, first reaching the upper funnel and then into the tobacco equipment. The tobacco is pressed through cigarette-shaped accessories and then wrapped in paper. The amount of tobacco moisture lost during the process depends on the speed of operation of the equipment, the time of exposure to the surrounding air, and the compressed gas used to transport the tobacco from the storage area.

When used for cigarette paper in the form of paper rolls, the humidity must also be balanced with the environment. If the moisture content changes, the size of the edge portion of the corresponding paper roll exposed will also change. This can cause tearing, the machine can't feed the paper correctly, and then stop the product and reload it at a high cost.
