Humidifier for Tobacco

Tobacco was originally bundled when it was bought into the factory and was extremely dry after opening. One of the first few processes, called “regaining”, is to let the tobacco pass through a large, steam-filled rotating drum. Due to the leakage of moisture into the surrounding air during the process, the relative humidity in these areas is very high, reaching 85-88% and a temperature of 30-32 °C. Tobacco moisture will rise from 1-2% to around 24% during resurgence, depending on customer needs.

After the tobacco regains moisture, the tobacco stems will be screened out. In the screening and cleaning stage, in order to prevent the tobacco from drying out, the relative humidity should be kept at 70-75% and the temperature is 24-29 °C. The tobacco then passes through the final step in the area – flavoring and flavoring. In most production plants, the moisture content of tobacco leaves the primary processing zone is between 13-16%. In order to prevent water loss, the ambient equilibrium relative humidity at this time should be between 60-68%.
