If the temperature rises too fast, the concrete will be unevenly heated, causing harmful thermal stress to cause cracks inside the concrete, increasing structural defects and reducing the strength of the concrete. Therefore, the strength of the concrete with lower curing temperature in the early stage is rather high.

2, humidity impact

When the relative humidity is less than 80%, the cement hydration will tend to stop. Therefore, the relative humidity should be kept as high as 80% as much as possible. If the concrete is dried early, the strength, impermeability and durability of the concrete will be adversely affected. The humidity of concrete curing is very important. If the environment of the early concrete does not maintain sufficient humidity, it may cause a large amount of water evaporation in the concrete. The consequence is that the drying and water loss affect the continued hydration of the cement.

On the other hand, the shrinkage causes the concrete to withstand the tensile stress caused by shrinkage under low-strength conditions, causing cracks on the concrete surface and affecting the strength of the concrete. Therefore, the concrete should be kept at a sufficient humidity during the curing period.
